Busy, Busy, Busy Bee!
I have been sooooo busy the past few days! Nothing exciting to report but thought I would do a quick check in. No picture either so instead here is a picture of one of my dogs ~ Betty the chihuahua! She weights in a 6lb and is 3 years old!

Photos & Demos!
I was pleased with how my ebay photos turned out! I have to admit that I am no David Bailey and so was quite immpressed with these!
These East of India Ribbons are great - the Union Jack hearts are so simple to make using felt, ribbon, thread and a single button!
Can you see the lovely Radio Gram biscuit tin peeping from the corner ~ my daughter bought it for me from M&S.

A Very Busy Start to the New Year!
Wow! My little felt shop, opened in late November 2009 has been so, so busy! Even after the Christmas rush the customers are still coming ~ I am so pleased!
One of the reason I started my little shop was to give myself an outlet. I have a progressive Muscle wasting disease and do not work but and like to keep as busy as my energy levels allow! Quite recently I was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which in my case is not as bad as it can be! I have mainly highs ~ think of the Queen song "Don't Stop Me Now (I'm Having Such a Good time)!", and you get a hint of how good I can feel! Unfortunately bipolar and muscular dystrophy are not compatible! I tire easily but the bipolar gives me energy I simply do not have = a tendency to fall over!! My internet shops have allowed me to be busy in a safe and structured way, I can channel all my energy into organising my shops The Felt Fairy and My Ebay Shop and at the same time indulge in my creative desires!
Wishing you all a wonderful and happy New Year! I am so looking forward to a creative 2010! x~X~x

Christmas Time x
Today I received my Christmas swap parcel from Ros of Rosa Munda! It was beautifully wrapped and ever so squishy! I behaved well and opened only my tree decorations - a beautifully stitched heart and a lovely tinkly bell which my westie Alf was very intrested in! Here is a picture of my tree decoration gift from Ros, I've hung it on my modern tree in the lounge, I can then enjoy it more!
THANK YOU ROS! AND A BIG THANK YOU TO KIM AT HEART IN THE COUNTRY FOR ORGANISING THIS SWAP XXXX
THANK YOU ROS! AND A BIG THANK YOU TO KIM AT HEART IN THE COUNTRY FOR ORGANISING THIS SWAP XXXX
I posted my parcel last week and know that it arrived safely so Rosa and I have completed our Handmade Christmas Swap. It is my first swap and I have to admit that I am a little worried - you may know what I mean - a crisis of confidence, will my gift be good enough?? So Ros, I hope you do like it! xx
Here are some more Christmas pics! This is my real christmas tree, I have it in the hall as it is cooler there. More importantly, it is out of the reach of my 3 dogs. My real tree houses my precious collection of vintage baubles and they a gorgeous, all hand painted. I do worry that if the dogs knock a bauble it may shatter and cut their little paws! Also my scottie jack would surely try to eat one!
We have also been very busy getting our jars ready for their 'gift hampers'. Last year we received a lovely handmade hamper and decided there and then to do something similar this year!
Each hamper will contain a jar each of sweet pickled beetroot, pickled onion, lime marmalade and green tomato chutney, also a small christmas cake which I am pretty sure is near 100% alcohol, all this has been made by my OH! I am going to make peppermint creams!l
